Knife Seminar - March 17th, 2013

On March 17th, Krav Maga Toronto will train you to recognize and defend against attacks involving knives. Attacks involving knives are fast, frightening, and are often deadly. Without the training to recognize the attack and how to properly defend against it, you can quickly become overwhelmed in a matter of only a few precious seconds.

While this seminar will build on techniques that students have seen during their Krav Maga training, there is no requirement to be a current student or even have any previous self-defence training in order to take this seminar! Spots are already filling up, so if you are interested in attending reserve your spot today by clicking the link below, or using our Contact Us page.

Women's Self-defence Seminar Photos - Feb. 9th, 2013

Yesterday Krav Maga Toronto hosted another in its continued series of Women’s Self-defence seminars, and we think everyone can agree that a great time was had by all! The ladies worked on how to deal with two-handed chokes from the front, and “gag” chokes from behind where the attacker has covered their mouth with their hand. We also want to thank the male volunteers that took a pretty good beating at the hands of the ladies in order to make these attacks as real as possible!

Did you miss out? Well check out a few of the photos below and watch for information on our next Women’s Self-defence seminar that will be posted here and on our Facebook page in the coming weeks!

Women's Self-defence Seminar - Feb. 9th

Krav Maga Toronto is pleased to announce our next seminar in our continued series of self-defence for women!

In recent months and throughout 2012, Toronto has unfortunately become an increasingly more dangerous place to live. In particular, sexual assaults against females have risen. Our Women-only Self-defense seminars are designed to be specific to threats towards women and are for women of all ages including teens and youths. During the two hour session, members and participants will be working on stress and reality based drills that will emulate dangerous encounters, such as rape and abusive situations. This seminar will focus on a variety of scenarios, specifically attacks from behind.

While this seminar will continue to build on techniques learned at our previous seminars, it is not required for you to have attended any of the previous seminars. The seminar is open to all female members and female non-members alike.
